Tasty tasty! Since I’m forever getting Charlie Hong Kong’s teriyaki salmon bowl I decided to take a shot and try out my own version to see how it tastes.
Went to Trader Joe’s since it is close by and grabbed a few items.
What you’ll need:
*Everything but the Bagel seasoning
*Persian cucumbers
*Avocado
*Salmon
*Teriyaki hoisin garlic sauce (or any teriyaki you like)
*Jasmine rice (frozen Trader Joe’s)
*Green onions
*Lime
*Brown sugar
I didn’t have the green onions but they are a must – and a squeeze of lime too! Just like my favorite dish at Charlie Hong Kong’s.
How this goes down:
Cut your salmon bites into about one-inch bites.
Put into a large bowl and add your spices to taste. I like a dash of salt and pepper, garlic powder, dash of brown sugar and a little honey. Then I coat the salmon bites with the teriyaki hoisin sauce.
Now they are ready to toss into the air fryer. I like mine well done, but I would start with 12 mins on 380 degrees. Mine tend to cool down after about 15 and they are just the way I like them.
Ready to eat!
Serve over rice, add your cucumbers, green onions, avocado, drizzle some teriyaki sauce over the top and sprinkle on some Everything but the Bagel and that little squeeze of lime, and muah!
